My grandmother, Bertie Blakesley's middle name is not Easter, it was Esther. Her birthdate was May 19, 1899 in Forestville, CA. Also, my grandfather's name was James LueRoy Myers, not LeeRoy (same for my uncle James..should be LueRoy, not LeeRoy).

     My grandmother, Bertie Myers died Aug. 1989 in Santa Rosa, CA. I think it was Aug 5th. She & my grandfather, James Myers are both buried in Memorial Park Cemetary in Santa Rosa. Their son, Thomas Edward died 2 days before her and their funerals were held together.
Lydia Alice Beale was born April 16, 1860 and died March 13, 1911. She married Thomas Blakesley March 30, 1879. They had 8 children, my grandmother was the youngest.

Born Edna Marie Hamlow to August(1864-1922)and Hulda(1869-1952) Hamlow on January 29, 1896. Mother of three daughters Marian Heidt Seymour(1915-2001), Florence Heidt(1919-1921), Pauline Heidt Burke(1922-2003), and one son Carrol Heidt(1924-present). Beloved grandmother to Gary Seymour(1941-present),Daniel Burke(1942-1978), Michael Seymour(1949-present),Laurel Heidt(1957-present), and Kelli Heidt(1960-present), Great Grandmother to Mark, Chris, Michelle, Michael, David, Matt H., and Matt S, and Great-Great Grandmother to Simone, (also to Todd, Nykel, Mckenna, Tanner, and Michael. Mrs. Blakemore passed before their birth). Wife of Lester Heidt(1895-1969) a foolish man that cheated and mis-treated Edna, they divorced 1937, and Walter "Jack" Blakemore (1885-1957)who treated Edna like a she should be treated, a queen. Marrying Jack made Edna step-mother to William Blakemore (1907-1983), Iver Blakemore (1909-1988), Walter Blakemore (1913-1975), Robert Blakemore (1915-1999), Victor (1918-1924), and Neldora Blakemore Clark (1920-1998). Great-Grandma was a very sweet giving lady, She smelled of sweet powder she liked a cigarette and a glass of wine every night before she went to bed. She was known for her tasty cookies. No matter who you were she always had a smile and a kind word. She was 93 years old when she died of Pneumonia. After 16 years she is still missed.
