To Frank Kirkman; from Harley BUNTIN Neal; May 15, 1999:
Jordan Drawings. Today, you should have received the Brush Creek Church
Drawing for Francis Jordan. Today: 5-15-1999: I am also sending
my masterpiece drawing of: Trammel Creek Baptist Church 1796 that was
held in the homes of the members; in 1804, there were an all time high
membership of 136 members; thus, Elder John Hightower . also started new
church of PROVIDENCE Baptist Church in Warren County, Kentucky. We have
Elder John Hightower as Pastor in the Following Baptist Churches of: 1796:
Trammel Creek Baptist Church, Warren Co., Ky, 1802:- Brush Creek Baptist
Churtch in Smith Co., Tennessee., and also for the l804: - Providence
Baptist Church in Warren Co., Ky.

They discussed FOOT WASHING & admission of 50 blacks
into their churches. There never was a record of membership for the 1796
Trammel; Creek Church; however, I did go on: Marriage records of Elder
John Hightower and also of Land Records; thus we have Elder Thomas Jordan,
Sr. and his issue as members; and also, we have in 1804: Aaron Neal as
a Messenger to the Green River Baptist Association. I also assumed that
the meetings werte largely held in the home of Elder Thomas Jordan and
or Elder John Hightower. In Southern Illinois in 1809, we have Thomas
Jordan, Sr., with a home of a double log cabin, and his home was even
used as a MEETING HOUSE FOR THE METHODIST CHURCH - HOW IS THAT FOR A GOOD
BAPTIST MINISTER? This is all for now of my BITS AND PIECES, AND THE JORDANS
AND THEIR CHURCHES. Wherever they went, Ky., Tn., Ill. and Texas, The
Thomas Jordan family had their Baptist Church; how about CALIFORNIA? Have
a happy May 16, 1999- JORDAN FAMILY REUNION- HARLEY BUNTIN NEAL.......
