August 7, 1833: Rev. Daniel Parker wagon train trip from Mt. Vernon, Il., to Chester, Il., to Little Rock, Ark., and to "The Royal Road" (El Camino Real) - from Nacogdoches, LA. to Nacogdoches, Texas. Among the 31 - families on the trip were: Francis M. Jordan, James Jordan, Joseph Jordan, and Joseph Neal. In 1850 John Jordan, the son of Francis M. Jordan, captioned a wagon train to San Diego, California.
